After its announcement in January, Panasonic made us wait a few months before we could get our hands on the video-centric Lumix S5 II X. Since it’s shipping from camera stores globally now, we took it out into the real world to gather some sample photos.
This batch was shot with Sigma’s 20, 35, and 65mm DG DN primes, as well as the Lumix 70-200mm F2.8, so you can get a great sense of the S5 II X’s imaging potential. Although most images are straight out of camera JPEGs, few images have been processed to pull out extra shadow detail using Adobe Camera Raw. As usual, Raws are available for you to play with as well.
